Founded in 1978 the Ellsworth Farmers' Market is one of the longest operating markets in the state of Maine. Located in the Heart of Downtown Ellsworth on Main Street you will find locally grown and crafted items as well as fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, dairy, baked goods, prepared food and so much more! 

NOTE: Ellsworth Farmers Market is not a Heart of Ellsworth Program. We partner and support this essential part of our communities food supply.

Opening day of the market season takes place in May and is subject to weather. It’s located in downtown Ellsworth (190 Main Street) EACH SATURDAY from 9:30 - 12:30 pm through October 30th.  RAIN OR SHINE!

Farmers Markets are identified as “essential businesses and operations” by the Governor’s Executive Order (3/24/20). The Ellsworth Farmers Market membership takes the role seriously and is implementing measures to reduce the risk of community spread of the COVID-19 virus to protect the public and our membership. These measures will remain in effect for the duration of Maine’s public health civil emergency.
